A special treat of Jazz in CLAZZ!

Together with some of the best musicians in Estonia- Eduard Akulin, Tõnu Naissoo, Siim Aimla, Peedu Kass Lee will give a masterclass and host a Jam Session on the 7th of January and two concerts on the 8th and 9th of January.

The Biography of Lee Pearson

Lee Pearson grooves and moves with some of the finest names of this world’s movement called music. From Broadway to Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, to even the organ on Sunday mornings when in town. He is constantly striving for a new nest and a unique way of approaching the drums different while at the same time keeping that classic vocabulary on this great instrument. Lee Pearson has Recorded on Five notable jazz recordings, including one with David Murray and the World Saxophone Quartet, and Hamiett Blueit and Baritone Nation. Lee Pearson is currently working on his first Cd which will prove his statement, new nest and unique as he stretches for new heights and deeper depths in this world of music.

Lee Pearson ideas and ears has led him to the band stand with some of the worlds greats pacesetters in Jazz and Hip hop as we know it today. Lee has toured and performed with His own band entitled ( Beava’s Atmosphere ), Roy Ayers, Lonnie Listen Smith, Jean Carn, Bobbi Humphreys, Ronnie Laws, Jon Lucien, Wayne Henderson (from the jazz crusaders), David Murray. John Hicks, Bobby Wattsons, Kenny Garrett, Little Jimmy Scott, Mr. Reggie Workman, Javon Jackson, Roy Hargrove, Antonio Hart, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, The Cab Calloway Orchestra,  Donald Harrison. Curtis Lundy, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, R&B singer Bilal and the tonight show band with Jay leno, just to name a few. He has not just played with these musician but also has developed a relationship with these great giants of this music that has helped him push and develop an even greater appetite and desire to step out on his own with his on music.

Lee Pearson also did a world tour with Savion glover’s 4 tony award winning broad way show bring in Da’ noise bring in Da’ funk, ( 2002-2003).
